This is my second leaf blower that I purchased from Scotts. It has excellent power and very light weight. The only issue is dealing with the extension cord. Strongly recommended

Pros: 2 speeds. Very useful around flower beds. Curved handle provides good balance for any angle. Cons: High speed is noisy, high pitch whine is tolerable, recommend standard ear plugs. Grating over air inlet at rear has slotted openings large enough to allow small leaves, blades of grass to enter blower that could possibly damage fan. I plan to put standard screening on inlet. I’m satisfied with the price I paid, I think I got my moneys worth.
Added regular screen material just in case. Glad I did it! It blocked a lot of debris, leaf fragments, small leaves, etc. from entering fan.

For the price (purchased on sale during a daily deal), this blower’s performance really surprised me. It moves leaves very well, even compared to a professional gas-powered backpack blower. It only struggles when leaves get piled up more than a foot or so. The switch is a little iffy, as if it doesn’t make perfect contact, but once it’s on I had no problems. The cord holder is also effective, even with a heavy duty cord…after being leaves for 2-3 hours, it never came unplugged. If you have a yard full of leaves, it will move the light stuff and corral the heavy stuff just fine (I still used a tarp on the biggest piles… It just goes faster that way). Excited to use it next summer to clean up after the lawn mower.

It is not made by Scott, but rather American Mower. Their customer support line does not work and when you select ANY option it plays the following message “The selected option has not been correctly configured in the phone system’
I would avoid this product at all costs.

I am new to needing to keep my patio clear of leaves & other tree “debris” and relatively unskilled in outdoor tasks. This cordless leaf blower is easy to charge, lightweight and its small size makes it easy to store. The regular speed is sufficient for blowing debris from the patio, with the ability to add add’l speed when needed. I don’t anticipate using this to blow leaves from the yard, but this is perfect for porch and patio use at a great price.

Disappointed in this new version of Scott’s 20 W cordless leaf blower. I am replacing there old model and even though they are both 20 W, they are not interchangeable. Unless you hold the button down for boost, this model will not cut it for power. As I stated, if you hold the boost button down, then you have the power of the old model, but you finger gets tired holding it down. Probably will be my last Scott’s cordless even though I have purchased their chain saw, trimmer and blower in the past.
